ReGen Civics: tools and a game for the Regenerative Renaissance

In the age of AI and potential upheavals in our economy, we make games that help people meet their needs together, from refugee camps to HOAs. Every community needs these, and meeting them locally takes coordination. People show up for coordination that's engaging and easy, so we make it a game: quests, roles and shared goals that help people meet their needs together while they regenerate the land they live on. The game runs with regenerative land projects today, and it's built for any community that shares land or housing.

ReGen Civics builds the tools and runs the in-real-life game that regenerative land projects use today: ecovillages, regenerative farms, intentional communities, and restoration projects healing their land and bioregions. We run a 13-week incubator, coordinate crowdpooling for land projects, and operate a quest-based game where anyone can contribute to real-world regeneration and earn tokens for verified work.

Founded in 2023, ReGen Civics grew out of the SEEDS regenerative economy movement. It starts from one idea: healthier lands lead to healthier people.

Four ways in

  • Land projects apply to the incubator for governance tools, economic design, and a crowdpool launch with their cohort.
  • Contributors back land projects through crowdpooling. Crowdpooling coordinates and accounts for what people bring to land projects: time, things, skills, land and money. Money goes through outside partners each project holds, never through ReGen Civics. The campaigns shown today are examples; real campaigns open when Season 2 starts crowdpooling.
  • Alliance partners join the network of organizations co-creating the Regenerative Renaissance.
  • Players complete quests that move healing into the world and earn $ReGen tokens.

The cooperative, in design

The ReGen Network Cooperative is being designed as a member-owned cooperative in which land projects and people buy and steward land together, governed democratically by the network itself. It is not yet a legal entity and it accepts no money. We are designing it now with land projects, future members and counsel.

Land projects, people and organizations can tell us they're interested. Telling us you're interested is not a commitment and involves no money. We'll keep you posted as the cooperative takes shape and invite you into the design conversations.

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a request to buy, securities, memberships or any other financial product. The cooperative is not formed and accepts no money.
