**Monti di Madri comunity ** is a early-stage regenerative land project based in Plesio, Como, Italy, Italy.
**Vision**
We are giving new life to an abandone little valley with no road and services. We bought a 400 years old village abandoned for at least 70 years, we already rebuilt 3 houses of the 9 we bought and use the place (100.000 m2 of woods) fir our spiritual retreats, host groups of kids for a deero in Nature experience and the village is becoming an meeting point for people
**Land status:** owned
**Regenerative practices**
In the village only vegan food, only self produced energy, houses renewed with bioarchiyectural sistems. Mist of all we know that what we see is a reflection of what we think to be, so we use the place and the telations to become aware of ourselves and heal what still needs to be healed.
**Governance approach**
Decisions are taken during circles of the 13 members with the agreement of each one, no majority.
**Community engagement**
The comunity is visited by many people looking for answers, we organiza, at the moment, at leadt 7/8 residential retreats and host families and groups looking fir a
**Team:** We are all students of our spiritual school and are giving life to this place as a way to oractice what we experience during our retreats: Unity between each other and all forms of Life. (13 people)
**Current funding:** Money are received as donations and offered for a period for the renewing of the hauses
**Funding needs:** We will find the money we need slowly in time to make the village grow and be a reference point for those looking for an healthy and respectful way of lininf and relate with the Planet. If we will receive economical support, this will happen earlier. There is the biggest of the houses that we planned to use as hospitality hause that needs to be renuwed, it will take at least 300.000€
